What Plan F is designed to cover

  • Certain Part A and Part B cost-sharing amounts left by Original Medicare.
  • The Part B deductible for people eligible to buy Plan F.
  • Standardized core benefits regardless of the company selling the policy.

Who may be eligible

  • People eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020 may still be able to buy Plan F.
  • Availability, pricing, underwriting, and guaranteed-issue rights vary by state and situation.
  • You must have Original Medicare Part A and Part B.

What it does not include

  • Prescription drug coverage.
  • Routine dental, vision, or hearing care unless separately offered.
  • Long-term custodial care.
